Our Story
Capturing the dreamlike sensations of an enchanting village nestled between the Ligurian Hills and the Mediterranean Sea.
​The Pudel family has been living and working in Portofino for generations. Welcoming those who have come to appreciate its enchanting elegance.
Our grandfather Klaus Pudel was a man much admired having saved the famous village from destruction during the Second World War...
...and later in the 1950s and ’60s as host to some of the most wonderful parties of La Dolce Vita’s era.
We created Portofino Dry Gin in homage to Klaus and, like him, it is a playful spirit with an unmistakable Mediterranean character.
​We made it our mission to spread the hidden charm of Portofino around the world, one sip at a time.
